Hop On, Hop Off – auf kulinarischer Drahtesel-Tour entlang der Förde

Moin moin ihr Fischköppe – schön, dass ihr hier gestrandet seid!

Heute ist Weltfischbrötchentag und eigentlich sind wir gemeinsam mit euch auf einer Radtour entlang der Flensburger Förde unterwegs, um genau diese Fischbrötchen zu finden und natürlich zu essen.
Nun könnt ihr leider nicht vor Ort sein und die hügelige Ostseeküste mit uns abfahren, deshalb mache ich das für euch und nehme euch mit auf eine Entdeckertour!
Los geht’s:
Mit dem Fahrrad starte ich beim Glückselig Strandrestaurant im Schwennautal in Glücksburg. Schon die Anfahrt ist ein Highlight. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und fast sommerlichen Temperaturen, beginnt mein Tagesprogramm unter besten Voraussetzungen.
Ich stehe am Wasser. Sand an den Füßen und die Ostsee so greifbar wie lange nicht mehr. Die Sonne spiegelt sich auf dem Wasser und am Horizont liegt die dänische Küste. Die Flensburger Förde als natürlicher Abstandhalter gefällt mir: Hallo Nachbarn!
Nun geht die Reise los und nach der langen Zeit zuhause bin ich fast ein bisschen aufgeregt und es fühlt sich an wie Urlaub. Urlaub an der Flensburger Förde.
Entlang der „Waterkant“ geht es bis zum ersten Zwischenstopp mit Plopp‘. Es geht darum zu genießen und dazu gehört an der Förde ein Flens.
Hier komme sogar ich ins Träumen und mein Urlaubsfeeling zieht ein.
Voller Entdeckungseifer schwinge ich mich zurück auf meinen Drahtesel und strample freudig weiter. Ab auf die Halbinsel Holnis.
Einmal um den Leuchtturm von Schausende und dann entlang der Salzwiesen. So abwechslungsreich wie die Natur und Umgebung ist die Beschaffenheit des Weges. Ich genieße es, weil zu jedem Hingucker an der Seite auch ein Hingucker auf dem Boden wartet.
Die Luft ist frisch und es tut gut einmal ganz tief einzuatmen, um mit Schwung den nächsten Hügel hinauf zu kommen. Dort angekommen werde ich von einem Ausblick erwartet, der mich fast vom Sattel haut.
Ich kann kaum glauben, dass ich nun schon seit 31 Jahren hier lebe und diese Ecken vor meiner Haustür noch nicht kannte. Holnis überrascht mich und ich habe mich gerade neu verliebt. Gut, dass ich jetzt und heute hier bin.
An der Spitze von Holnis angekommen, darf sich das Fahrrad kurz ausruhen und ich wage mal einige Schritte zu Fuß. Ich werde direkt für meinen Mut belohnt und kann auf einer kleinen Holzbank ein 360° Panorama genießen. Es ist ein Glücksmoment, das spüre ich. Und er gibt mir einen kleinen Augenblick, um zu realisieren, was für ein Glück Heimat ist.
Mein Akku ist wieder voll, so wie der der Wassersportler auf der Förde. Ich bewundere sie staunend entlang der Promenade und empfehle jedem, das beim Radfahren mit geschlossenem Mund zu tun! Noch nicht ganz satt und mit Appetit auf ein ersehntes Fischbrötchen, ist der nächste Halt beim Strandcafé Holnis.
Hier lässt es sich aushalten und ich kann dem Treiben auf dem Wasser ganz entspannt von meiner Picknickdecke aus folgen. Das Fischbrötchen habe ich heute selbst dabei. Und es schmeckt mir bei der Kulisse fast so gut wie von einem Profi gebastelt.
Mit Vorfreude lasse ich den Blick entlang der Ostseeküste schweifen und freue mich auf die nächsten Kilometer. Denn mein Ziel in Langballigau kann ich von meiner Decke aus schon sehen. Ich bin gespannt, was der nächste Teil meiner Entdeckertour für mich bereithält.
Ich durchquere einen schön angelegten Golfplatz in Bockholmwik und überwinde Streckenabschnitte des OstseeMan. Auf der Straße entdecke ich immer wieder Schriftzüge, die den Sportlerinnen und Sportlern des jährlichen Triathlons gewidmet sind. Aber ich denke, dass auch ich die kraftvollen Anfeuerungen wie „GO Vici GO!“ auf mein persönliches Etappenziel anwenden darf.
Hochmotiviert gelange ich zu einem der schönsten Abschnitte meiner kleinen Reise. Ich durchfahre das Tal – und natürlich auch die Hügel – der Langballigau.
Zwischen den Wäldern und Wiesen sehe ich immer wieder die Ostsee, sodass ich mit Sicherheit noch auf dem richtigen Weg bin. Dieses Fleckchen Erde verzaubert mich! Die Natur steht überall in den Startlöchern, um in diesem Jahr so richtig großartig zu werden. Immer, wenn ich einen neuen Platz zu meinem Lieblingsplatz gewählt habe, wartet hinter der nächsten Kurve schon der nächste und löst den Vorgänger ab. Es ist ein Staffellauf der Glücksmomente.
Zur Landschaft Angeln gehören historische Dörfer und Siedlungen, die ich heute aus einem ganz neuen Blickwinkel entdecke. Irgendwie scheint mir der Winkel von meinem Fahrrad genau der Richtige zu sein, um liebevolle Details zu finden. Ich genieße die Entschleunigung und Ruhe an der Flensburger Förde. Ich begegne vielen „Moin“-Menschen und ich weiß, dass es ihnen wie mir geht und sie gerade Schwung holen, um mit euch diese faszinierende Region während eures nächsten Urlaubs oder Besuchs teilen zu können.
Und dann wartet die letzte lange Abfahrt auf mich. Ich lasse die Räder machen und genieße die frische Brise und den Duft von Salz und Sonne. So rolle ich in das kleine Fischerdörfchen Langballigau ein. Was für ein Empfang: Blauer Himmel, Sonne, Strand, Fisch direkt vom Kutter. Ich bin angekommen!
